Antique 19th Century Chinese Tansu Traveling Chest

The rich, weathered patina of the wood highlights its history and character.
Originally designed for mobility, this chest has been paired with a custom-fitted black-finished wooden stand, elevating it to a functional console or accent piece.
 
Condition: Good / Antique. Shows authentic wear consistent with age, including surface scuffs, minor wood shrinkage, and oxidation on iron components which adds to its vintage character. Structurally sound. Custom stand is in excellent condition.
