Description: An impressive vintage French Transition style (Louis XV to Louis XVI) chest of drawers featuring a thick, contoured marble top in shades of rose and grey. The bow-front mahogany and kingwood case is adorned with elaborate marquetry, including a central figural medallion depicting a classical pastoral scene. The upper apron is decorated with swags and rosettes, while the sides feature sunburst grain patterns. Includes two deep drawers with ornate cast-brass handles and stands on four tapered, fluted legs.

Structure: The piece is solid and the drawers slide smoothly.
Veneer/Inlay: There is significant lifting, chipping, and loss to the marquetry on the upper apron and light scratching on the drawer fronts.
