Description: An authentic piece of Mexican Folk Art from the legendary Doña Rosa workshop in San Bartolo Coyotepec, Oaxaca. This "Barro Negro" (Black Clay) vessel features a striking hand-burnished metallic finish and a signature "dimpled" or "honeycomb" texture across the body. The piece is hand-signed on the base "Doña Rosa, San Bartolo Coyotepec, Oaxaca, Mexico." A quintessential example of Oaxacan craft, this vase blends traditional artisan techniques with a modern, sculptural aesthetic.

 

Excellent Vintage Condition. No chips, cracks, or visible repairs. The burnished surface retains its original luster. Minor surface variations are inherent to the handmade process.
