Description: This exquisite 19th-century Chinese chest is crafted from Huanghali, a rare and highly sought-after rosewood prized for its shimmering grain and durability. The front features two cabinet doors secured by a traditional large circular brass "moon" backplate and pin latch. Each panel is delicately hand-etched with intricate floral arrangements in vases, symbolizing harmony and prosperity. The wood exhibits a rich, naturally aged patina that highlights its history and authentic character. Side iron "bat" handles allow for transport, making this a versatile piece that functions beautifully as a low console, blanket chest, or a statement coffee table.

Condition Report: Very Good. Displays authentic age-related wear, including minor surface scuffs and natural wood shrinkage consistent with a 100+ year old piece. Hardware is original with a deep oxidation patina. Solid structural integrity.
