Description: Built from solid aromatic red cedar, this piece was originally designed to protect textiles with its natural moth-repellent properties. Today, its flat-top design makes it an ideal choice for a rustic coffee table or an end-of-bed bench.
The exterior is highlighted by wide vertical metal bands featuring raised geometric studs and original heavy-duty drop handles on either side.
Very Good Antique Condition. The cedar wood displays a rich, warm patina with natural knotting throughout. The decorative metal strapping and side handles are intact and securely fastened. Shows minor age-appropriate surface wear and wood loss at the sides.
