This is a Japanese nihonga-style painting on paper with silk matting (金地), late Meiji to Taishō period (roughly 1890–1930).

   •   Subject: rooster (a very common auspicious motif).

   •   Medium: ink and mineral pigments on paper, framed with silk matting .

The vertical signature reads:

春雄

Haruo

And the seals match that reading:

   •   One round seal (yōin)

   •   One square seal (in’in)

Both are personal name seals, not studio or Kano-school seals. antique Japanese Painting attributed to Bamba Haruo (番場春雄).
