Antique Tibetan 9-Drawer Polychrome Apothecary Sideboard
Description
A rare and visually striking antique sideboard featuring a traditional everted "winged" top. This piece contains nine deep drawers, each adorned with hand-painted gold and red polychrome panels in a recessed "cloud" or "ruyi" shape. The dark, naturally aged patina of the frame contrasts beautifully with the warm pigments of the drawer faces. Equipped with original-style iron ring pulls and a sturdy four-leg base with simple apron carving. Perfect as a statement console, buffet, or media entry piece.
Condition: Overall: Good Antique Condition. Shows authentic age-related wear including surface abrasions, thinning of the pigment on drawer faces, and a rich, weathered patina on the wood. Drawers are functional. Minor structural scarring consistent with age, adding to its wabi-sabi character.
