Description: This elegant two-tiered Ju-Bako (nesting food box) showcases the intersection of traditional utility and samurai heritage. Finished in a deep, lustrous chocolate-brown Urushi lacquer with a striking vermilion red interior, the lid features a hand-painted gold Maru-ni-Chigai-Takanoha (Crossed Hawk Feathers) family crest.
 
Good Vintage Condition. Minor surface wear and faint scuffing to the lacquer consistent with age and light use. Lid has disconnect that would benefit from repair. Interior red lacquer remains vibrant.
