Monumental Antique African Hand-Carved Wood Totem

Description: A commanding piece of African ethnographic art, this monumental totem is hand-carved from a single, heavy hardwood trunk. Potentially originating from the Senufo people of the Ivory Coast, the sculpture features several stylized human and animal symbols.  
The wood displays a deeply weathered, "crusty" patina with natural age-related fissures that highlight its authenticity and historical use.
