Rare hand-signed Roy Lichtenstein poster created for the American Federation of Arts 80th Anniversary (1909–1989).
This large and visually striking Pop Art work features the word “ART” rendered in Lichtenstein’s signature comic-inspired style, complete with bold outlines, primary colors, and Ben-Day dots. The design comes from Lichtenstein’s “Reflections” series, where diagonal bands create the illusion of reflective surfaces across the image.
Unlike most examples of this commemorative poster, this piece is personally hand signed by Roy Lichtenstein in pencil in the lower right margin. The copyright line reads:
