Royal Copenhagen Aluminia Tenera "Huge Mug" 2L Faience 453/3168

Description: a rare, oversized "Huge Mug" from the mid-century modern Tenera series, a collaboration between Aluminia and Royal Copenhagen. This 2-liter faience vessel features the iconic hand-painted "453" decoration—a bold, blue and purple floral abstract design—on the 3168 "Huge" shape designed by Nils Thorsson.
The base is fully marked with the Aluminia "A" bee-hive stamp, the artist's monogram, and the shape/pattern numbers. This piece is a quintessential example of Danish Modern ceramics, featuring the thick, smooth glaze and vibrant, almost 3D-effect colors characteristic of the Tenera line.

Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Minimal glaze crazing is present, which is standard and expected for Aluminia faience of this age.
